11/10. Lisa (the host) and Anthony (the chef) have a wonderful thing going here. My wife and I celebrated our one year anniversary while on holiday in Kinsale. Bia is the perfect spot for couples or groups of 4-6. The bacon wrapped monkfish was the best I've had, the blacksole was a delight. The passionfruit and honeycomb dessert was a dream. Presentation is imbeccable and flavors are wonderfully inviting and complex. Cozy atmosphere and the friendliest staff I've encountered to date. Bia is simply wonderful, don't think twice, book your reservation and enjoy yourselves.

Lovely place, one of our best meals in Ireland! We really enjoyed our monkfish and black sole dishes. Great flavor, complements to the chef! The desserts were also fabulous. Make a reservation online as walk-ins are not accepted.

Unquestionably the culinary highlight of our trip to Kinsale. The hospitality provided by Lisa was unrivaled; she is attentive, detail-oriented, and a delight to be around. It is abundantly clear she is passionate about the menu she and Chef Anthony have curated together and rightfully so.

Everything we ate was brilliant, but the bacon-wrapped monkfish (a special on the menu when I went in June 2026) was a personal highlight. Don’t skip the dessert menu, no matter how full you think you are. Our sever Charlie was also lovely and I have no doubt he will continue to thrive within hospitality.

We went twice during our stay because we loved our experience so much. Thank you and keep up the great work, Bia team!
